Last weekend the first Brazilian Expo happened in Worcester, MA. The program director Suely DiBara gave the Brazilian community of New England the opportunity to have closer contact with the Brazilian culture. She also opened a space to Brazilian businessmen to show their businesses. The exposition had cultural and educational aspects with booths illustrating Art work and a special place for the Brazilian library of New York, represented by Dr. Domício Coutinho.

Another positive point of the exposition was the first international Educationist Movement Conference, a project originated in Brazil by Senator Cristovam Buarque where professionals in the areas of Education, members of organizations such as The Brazilian Alliance, parents and professionals from other areas who believe in preserving the Portuguese language attended. A special thanks to Fernando Castro, President EMF-USA and Arlete Falkowski, vice president EMF-USA, who dreamed, believed and are developing this project with responsibility and determination. We are already looking forward to the second Brazilian Expo.
