Just before boarding to her last trip to Brazil, to foster news alliances and cultural exchanges, Abigail Amorim met the famous volleyball players Gibba, Vissotto and the coach Bernardinho stars of the Brazilian National Volleyball Team.
They met just before the players faced the USA team in the semi finals for the Volleyball World Cup.
Although Brazil lost the game,
the Brazilian Alliance celebrated the US victory and the spirit of friendship and exchange that comes along sports competitions.
As many experts noted, the Brazilian team didn't performed as good as they were expected and the American team deserved the victory, even though the referee performance seemed deficient.
The US will be playing on the final in July, in Poland. We are keeping your fingers crossed - GO USA, GO !
