100_0854Marco Neves, Ambassador Dunlop & Ibis RiveraABE student interns Marco Neves(CCSU) & Ibis Rivera(St.Joseph College) and Executive Director Abigail Amorim met with Ambassador Ronaldo Dunlop on March 17th at his ofifce The purpose of the meeting was to tour the Consulate facilities, learn about the services they offer and brainstorm ideas on possible projects, and collaborations as well as to interview the ambassador  for the 6th Anniversary Celebration fundraiser presentation book.



The ambassador is one of our honorary event committe chairs, along with Governor  Rell and Nancy Wyman, all of whom had graciously accepted our  request.

100_0864Ibis, Marco, Vice-Consuls José carlos Costa e Sonia Reis da Costa, Ronaldo DunlopThe meeting with The Ambassador Ronaldo Dunlop went very well.  The Ambassador was very friendly and welcoming.  The Ambassador answered our questions and gave suggestions.  The meeting was very informative.  He explained the services the consulate provides for the Brazilians and also for other foreigners such as visas to Brazil.  The tour of the consulate was very impressive!  Marco and I thought that the consulate was not a big spacious location but we were surprised to know that the consulate was as big as it was.  "Marco and I were honored to have had the privilege to interview The Ambassador of Brazil".
